The YGQ-CSBLU ultrasonic liquid (material) level meter emits ultrasonic pulses from the probe, which are transmitted at the speed of sound. When these pulses encounter the surface of the measured medium, they are reflected. A portion of the reflected echo is received by the same probe and converted into an electrical signal. Since the distance from the probe to the surface of the measured medium is directly proportional to the time required for the transmission and reception of the same ultrasonic pulse, the level height of the measured medium can be calculated accordingly.
