In mining, metallurgy, oil drilling and other industries, the accurate measurement of mud flow has always been a technical difficulty. Recently, Yigeqi electromagnetic flowmeter has shown excellent performance and advantages in these complex measurement scenarios by relying on its unique technical advantages, and has become a new favorite in the field of industrial measurement.

Technological Breakthrough: Electromagnetic Flow Meters Solve Mud Measurement Challenges. Traditional flow meters often face issues like severe wear, easy clogging, and reduced accuracy when measuring mud. The electromagnetic flow meter's design without flow obstruction components completely resolves mechanical wear problems. Its special lining materials (such as polyurethane and rubber) combined with electrode configurations enable efficient handling of solid particles and corrosive substances in mud.

"The adoption of electromagnetic flow meters has significantly improved measurement stability, extended the maintenance cycle from one month to six months and significantly reduced production costs," said a technical director at a large mining group

Industrial applications: From oil drilling to tailings treatment. In oil drilling, electromagnetic flowmeter can monitor the injection of drilling mud in real time, providing data basis for safe operation. In mining industry, it is widely used in tailings conveying pipeline to help achieve resource recovery and environmental protection standards.

It should be noted that for high concentration mud, the advanced low-frequency square wave excitation design can directly measure the instantaneous flow in the closed pipeline according to the principle of Faraday electromagnetic induction. The signal fluctuation has been successfully handled, and the measurement accuracy is stabilized at ±0.5%FS.

The successful application of electromagnetic flowmeter in slurry measurement lies in the treatment of two major problems: electrode scaling and lining wear. In the future, with the development of more wear-resistant nano-coating technology, the service life of the product can be further extended.
